Friendship Circle of Arizona creates friendship, inclusion, and support for children, teens, and young adults with special needs while empowering volunteers and strengthening families.
Founded in 2005 by Chabad of Arizona, Friendship Circle was built on a simple belief: every person deserves to feel valued, connected, and included. What began as a small initiative has grown into a vibrant community that brings together participants, families, volunteers, staff, and supporters through meaningful relationships and engaging programs.
At Friendship Circle, we believe that friendship has the power to transform lives. Through social, recreational, educational, and life-skills programs, participants build confidence, develop new skills, and form lasting friendships. At the same time, teen and young adult volunteers gain compassion, leadership, and a deeper appreciation for the value of every individual.
Our programs serve children, teens, and young adults throughout the Valley and are open to families of all backgrounds, faiths, and abilities. Whether participating in a Sunday Circle event, a camp experience, a holiday celebration, a young adult social gathering, or one of our many community programs, every individual is welcomed as an important part of the Friendship Circle family.
More than a program, Friendship Circle is a community—one where friendships are formed, families find support, volunteers discover purpose, and everyone has the opportunity to belong.
"The true beauty of Friendship Circle is that everyone benefits—the participant, the volunteer, the family, and the community."
